JOHN KOSOVICH WINES
2022 PINOT NOIR
The 2022 growing season was excellent in the region. Good rain early in the season and we had great fruit set. Selected clones in our vineyard include MV6, 115 and 777. For best results the fruit is cropped at low levels of approximately 1.5 ton per acre. All grapes are hand harvested and fermented in open tank with some portion whole bunch fermented. Tasting Notes: Medium fine colour. The wine offers aromas of spice, clove, cherries and subtle oak. The mid palate has weight and shows a fine tannin structure, ensuring the wines cellaring potential for 10 years. The wine is vibrant and shows complexity. It has a fine structure, focus and a persistent length all with a soft finish. A great pairing with game dishes or cheese. Alc Content: 13% Cellar Door RRP: $50.00 Available at: Cellar Door (Swan Valley) or online.
LILLIAN
2023 PINOT NOIR
John Brocksopp is a wine industry legend, having played a major role, as viticulturist for Leeuwin Estate and the development of Margaret River in the early days. In retirement, he tends his Pemberton vineyard and quietly makes some of WA’s best-value premium wines in an icy-cold, deep-set valley on Pemberton’s perimeter. His is a plush pinot style, reflecting the warmth of vintage, with ripe berry fruit, maraschino cherries, vanilla oak and a prickle of spice. In short, it’s a powerful pinot. The intensity and length are impressive. Flavours linger for minutes. While not a delicate, this is an extraordinary wine and worthy of a special occasion. -Paul Edwards, The West Australian, Dec 2022 Tasting notes: Bouquet: Cherry, Raspberry, Sweet Spice Palate: Cherries, Wild Strawberry, Plush Alc content: 13.9% RRP Price: $60.00 Available at: Manjimup BottleO (Tall Timbers)

PEMBERLEY
2022 PINOT NOIR
Singing of Pemberton, this pinot could be from nowhere else. Brambly red cherry, strawberry and green olive direct the aromas, with hints of crushed coffee, white spice and white chocolate playing minor but significant roles onstage. On the palate, this is an elegant pinot, moving down the light and fine path, rather than full and dense. Not quite fine-boned, this has an elegant structure that holds all the intense fruit together, the tannins are finely woven throughout. Alc content: 13.5% Cellar Door Price: $35.00 Available at: Cellar door, Pemberton Liquor Barons, Pemberton BottleMart, Manjimup BottleMart, Manjimup BottleO (Tall Timbers)
